This means your treatment is tailored to you, rather than following a one-size-fits-all approach.

Your session brings together different styles of acupuncture, allowing your treatment to be tailored to you.
Medical Acupuncture
A modern approach informed by anatomy, physiology and an understanding of the body.
Dry Needling Techniques
Focused techniques commonly used when working with areas where people experience muscular tension.
Traditional Acupuncture Principles
A whole-person approach considering your lifestyle, stress levels and overall wellbeing.
Most people find acupuncture very relaxing. You may feel a slight warmth or tingling as the needles go in. Certain points might feel sensitive, but it shouldnβt be painful.
That depends on what weβre treating, how long itβs been going on, and how your body responds. Many people feel some change within the first few sessions. Iβll give you a clearer idea after your first appointment.
I work with a wide range of pain and tension conditionsβfrom sciatica, lower back pain and costochondritis, to shoulder issues, hip tightness, and postural discomfort. Treatments are personalised and may include motor point acupuncture, electroacupuncture and manual release.
Yes. I regularly see people with sports and exercise-related injuries, including shoulder, knee, hip, back and elbow pain, as well as muscle strains and tendon problems.
Treatment is tailored to the individual and may combine acupuncture, electroacupuncture, movement assessment and practical advice to support your recovery and help you return to the activities you enjoy.
Yes. There is good evidence to support acupuncture for a number of conditions, particularly some types of persistent pain. Research is ongoing, and the strength of evidence varies depending on the condition being treated.
I use a combination of modern medical acupuncture, traditional acupuncture and electroacupuncture, choosing the approach that best suits your symptoms.
Yesβwhen needed, I use motor point acupuncture (which targets muscles that arenβt firing properly) and electroacupuncture (which uses a gentle current between needles). These techniques are highly effective for physical pain and functional movement issues.
Please wear or bring loose clothing, ideally a short-sleeved top and shorts or loose trousers, so I can access the relevant areas comfortably for assessment and treatment.
